Friday, May 13 @ 10:30am
281 Industrial Avenue (upstairs)
Come eat your heart out, literally AND metaphorically, with CAConrad on Saturday, May 14th at the TCR kitchen table (281 Industrial Avenue) from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Participate in some of CA’s legendary (soma)tic poetry rituals and leave with your body & soul (or whatever-you-want-to-call-it) FED!
Admission is $20, which includes a breakfast of fresh fruit, bagels, steel-cut oats, and coffee/tea/juice, plus a one-year subscription to The Capilano Review for you or a friend.
Space is limited! Please write to contact@thecapilanoreview.ca to reserve a spot (and to let us know of any food allergies/intolerances).
Note that CA will be reading with poet Rae Armantrout on Friday, May 13th. Join us then too! Info here.
CAConrad’s childhood included selling cut flowers along the highway for his mother and helping her shoplift. He is the author of eight books of poetry and essays; the latest, ECODEVIANCE: (Soma)tics for the Future Wilderness (Wave Books, 2014), is the winner of the 2015 Believer Book Award.
