For five decades, Gerry Shikatani’s art language projects have appeared in poetry, prose, text, sound, performance, and film. Media work includes social/ spiritual themes, sports, travel, and gastronomy as an international culinary critic. He is founding director of a writers’ retreat in Granada, Spain honouring Federico Garcia Lorca. He holds The Cross in the Order of Civil Merit, granted by the King of Spain.
