Fred Wah

Fred Wah is a poet based in Vancouver and on Kootenay Lake. Working across poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, his texts explore themes of hybridity, memory, and lineage, and often involve collaboration with visual artists. His most recent projects include Music at the Heart of Thinking: Improvisations 1-170 (Talonbooks, 2020), a collaboration with Rita Wong about the Columbia River entitled beholden: a poem as long as the river (Talonbooks, 2018), and the online project High Muck a Muck: Playing Chinese, An Interactive Poem.
