Fenn Stewart
Fenn Stewart reads and writes on unceded Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh territories. She is regular faculty in the English Department at Douglas College, and occasional faculty at UBC. From 2018 to 2019 Fenn served as Editor of The Capilano Review. She's the author of three chapbooks, and one full-length poetry collection (Better Nature, 2017). Her research on colonialism and decolonization in "Canadian" literature and culture has appeared in the journals ARIEL: A Review of International English Literature; Law, Culture and the Humanities; and CV2. Her most recent work, in collaboration with Jastej Luddu, includes an article in Briarpatch about Mewa Singh, and a post on the Oecologies blog about decolonization and the end of the world. With Jastej and Afuwa, Fenn is the guest-editor of a 2023 special issue of The Capilano Review, focused on "bad feelings."
