Találsamkin Siyám Chief Bill Williams

TALÁLSAMKIN SIYÁM, CHIEF BILL WILLIAMS, has been an elected representative of the Squamish Nation (1980 to 2013) and was elected to the First Nations Forestry Council in 2008 by the BC Assembly of First Nations. In 1995, Chief Bill Williams became one of sixteen Hereditary Chiefs of the Squamish Nation. Throughout his career he has negotiated historic land and accommodation agreements within the traditional territory of the Squamish Nation as well as being a key negotiator for protocol agreements with other Coast Salish Nations.
