The Capilano Review has joined the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI), a concrete action that materializes and reaffirms the anti-oppressive values and commitment to decolonization laid out in our publication’s existing Editorial Policy. In committing to PACBI, we will not work or partner with academic, artistic, and cultural institutions that are directly complicit in the ongoing genocide, occupation, and apartheid in Palestine. This is not a boycott of individuals, but of Israeli state-funded institutions and partnerships. We invite you to learn more about PACBI and the work of Writers Against the War on Gaza, and encourage our peer institutions to join the campaign.
