MAGED ZAHER currently lives in Seattle. He has five books of poetry and two translation books of Arabic poetry. In 2013 he won the weekly Stranger’s Genius award in literature. His collected poems are forthcoming from Chatwin press.

LISSA WOLSAK ~ Poet, essayist, goldsmith, and Master practitioner of Energy Psychology in Vancouver, and Langley, B.C. Lissa is the author of the long-poems The Garcia Family Co-Mercy; Pen Chants, or nth or 12 Spirit-like Impermanences; A Defence of Being ~ first and second ana; An Heuristic Prolusion; Squeezed Light ~ Collected Works 1995–2005; Thrall; Of Beings Alone ~ The Eigenface; and the forthcoming LIGHTSAIL.

Accessibility information:

There is a 42″-wide ramp leading to the entrance of the Arts Factory. All single doors (including the front entrance, bathroom door, and bathroom-stall doors) are 34″. There is one fully-accessible stall in the bathroom.

A lift is available for access to the second floor of the building, where this event will be held.

Parking is scarce in the area so we recommend public-transiting, biking, or walking if feasible.
