RENÉE SAROJINI SAKLIKAR is a poet and lawyer who lives in Vancouver on the territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. She is the author of four books, including Bramah and The Beggar Boy (Harbour Publishing, 2021), an epic fantasy in verse. Renée curates Lunch Poems at Simon Fraser University and was the inaugural poet laureate for the City of Surrey.
