Call for Board Treasurer

The Board of The Capilano Review Arts Society, publisher of The Capilano Review, is seeking a volunteer Treasurer to oversee the organization’s finances, including budget projections, advice to the staff and Board on financial matters and strategies, and presentation of the completed fiscal year statements at the AGM. The finances of The Capilano Review are managed by a professional bookkeeper and the year-end review engagement is conducted by an accountant. The role of the Board Treasurer is to provide oversight and guidance based on accounting experience.

The Board meets four times per year. Additional meetings with staff regarding timely matters may occasionally arise.  

The Capilano Review offers a welcoming and thoughtful space for the work of established and emerging writers and artists from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds. Joining TCR’s Board offers candidates an opportunity to directly and actively support the local arts and writing community.
