Reuben Quinn

Reuben Quinn attended the Blue Quills Residential School in Alberta until the school was taken over by the Turtle Islanders (nêhiyawak) of that area. At that time there was a resurgence of language and cultural teachings. Reuben credits the late Mrs. Rosanna Houle for reviving the nêhiyaw atahkipêyîhkanak (nêhiyaw spirit markers).
