When we were evacuated from the Strawberry Hills Fire (a case of Premature Evacuation, as hindsight indicates), Sharon kindly invited Lyn & I to stay with her and Paul, for 'safe refuge’. We declined and were quietly back home when the apocalyptic Okanagan Mountain Park Fire fingered 20 feet from Sharon's front door. Her generosity exceeded her prescience by three weeks & two hundred kilometres."
