NADINE SHELLY is currently living in Vancouver, although her home is on Salt Spring Island. In 1990, Exile Editions published her first book of poetry, Barebacked with Rain, at which time she received the Morley Callaghan Protege Award from the Toronto Arts Award Foundation.
