Judith Copithorne

Judith Copithorne is a poet, writer, and artist who has made many notable contributions to concrete poetry and other intermedia contexts from the 1960s through to the present. In the 1960s and 1970s, she was identified as an affiliate of Vancouver’s so-called Downtown Poets and was involved with Vancouver’s alternative art venues, including Sound Gallery, Motion Studio, and Intermedia. Her work has been published and anthologized widely online and in print and exhibited in galleries across Canada. Her latest book, Another Order: Selected Works of Judith Copithorne, edited by Eric Schmaltz, is out now from Talonbooks.
