D. A. Lockhart’s most recent work includes Bearmen Descend Upon Gimli (Frontenac House, 2021), Go Down Odawa Way (Kegedonce, 2021), and Breaking Right: Stories (Porcupine’s Quill, 2021). A graduate of Indiana University–Bloomington’s MFA program in Creative Writing, his work has been a finalist for the ReLit Award, the Indiana Author’s Awards, and the Raymond Souster Award. He is pùkuwànkoamimëns of the Moravian of the Thames First Nation and currently resides at Waawiiyaatanong and Pelee Island, where he is the publisher of Urban Farmhouse Press and poetry editor at the Windsor Review.
