Cole Swensen

COLE SWENSEN is the author of fifteen volumes of poetry, most recently Landscapes on a Train (2015). She has won the Iowa Poetry Prize, the San Francisco State Poetry Center Book Award, and the National Poetry Series. A 2006 Guggenheim Fellow, she is the founding editor of La Presse (www.lapressepoetry.com). Cole taught at the University of Denver and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop before moving to the Literary Arts Program at Brown University where she now teaches.
