Zoran Jungic

ZORAN JUNGIC was born in the town of Banja Luka in 1949. He moved from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, former Yugoslavia, to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in 1968, and graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1976. His first works of poetry in Serbian appeared in the Anthology of young poets of Bosnia and Herzegovina "Sudbonosni dječaci" (Duško Trifunović, editor) and in the literary magazine "Život", Sarajevo, 1966. His first works of poetry in English appeared in the anthology of British Columbia poets "West Coast Seen"(1969) and on Canadian national radio CBC in 1977. Jungic lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
