Judith Penner
Judith Penner had an early career as a poet, short story writer, journalist (Fiddlehead, Best Canadian Stories, The Observer Magazine UK) and co-author of several non-fiction books, followed by a long period of preoccupation with family, travel, and teaching yoga and related workshops in India, Europe and North America. She has written for the CBC and the NFB and been an editor, primarily of books on art, such as the award-winning The Colour of our Dreams: The Surrealist Revolution in Art (VAG). More recently her poetry, fiction and essays have appeared in catalogues (readymades, Smith Foundation), anthologies (Sustenance, Anvil Press), The Poetry Foundation, and in literary magazines, including Geist, Prism International, The Capilano Review online, and SubTerrain. In 2018 her chapbook of prose poems, A Bed of Half Full: a landscape, was published by Nomados Literary Publishers.
