Hanako Hoshimi-Caines (she/they) is an experimental dance artist working at the intersections of choreography, installation, and community practice. Studies in Western philosophy coinciding with motherhood led to an interest in the ontology of the fourth wall and the spirit of error. Born and based in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, Hanako is a first generation Canadian of mixed European and Japanese ancestry.
