Emily Fedoruk

Emily Fedoruk is a poet and antidisciplinary scholar who is the SpokenWeb Postdoctoral Fellow in the Multimedia Archive at Simon Fraser University this year. She grew up on the unceded and unsurrendered territories of the Halkomelem speaking peoples in the extracolonial suburb we call New Westminster, attended SFU, and completed a PhD in Cultural Studies at the University of Minnesota in 2019. Most recently, she has taught at UBC, Douglas College, and Okanagan College in English Literature, Arts Studies, and Gender Studies. She published a book of poems, All Still, in 2008 and is at work on two manuscripts: one investigates poetry in public space and everyday life, and the other is a study of radical classes in the arts since 1960. She is Literary Editor at The Capilano Review.
