David Phillips

DAVID PHILLIPS was born and raised in Vancouver. His books and chapbooks include The Dream Outside (1967), Wave (1968), The Coherence (1970), The Snow Poem (1973), Wild Roses (1975), and, most recently, The Kiss (Coach House Press, 1979). In 1979 he co-edited The Body (Tatlow House), an anthology of Vancouver poets. A chapbook, Blink/Gumboots, appeared from Tatlow/Gorse Press in 1986. His work was the focus of a special section in TCR #32, and he has appeared in TCR #3, 11 and 12. Phillips lives in North Vancouver, where he works as a part-time carpenter.
