Aubin Soonhwan Kwon
Aubin Soonhwan Kwon is an artist born in Seoul, grew up in the suburbs of Alberta, and currently lives and works in Vancouver, the territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh). His work spans across painting, building, organizing, hosting, and researching. He has recently shown at M.O.L.D Gallery (2023, Vancouver), Tanya Leighton Gallery (2022, LA), and ran a speakeasy project called Epiphyte Epilogue (2021, Vancouver).
