As part of our spring programming, TCR is excited to host Writer-in-Residence Liz Howard for the online writing workshop, “Strange Nature.” The workshop proposes a “two-eyed” look at ecological models, considering the body and the urban environment alongside the so-called natural environment, to offer strategies for writing with and through these troubled ecologies.
As a lifelong learner I am committed to a continual practice of “two-eyed seeing” in which traditional knowledge is considered alongside findings from Western science. — Liz Howard, in conversation with Room Magazine
This workshop will be delivered online through Zoom and auto-captioning will be available. Participants are invited to keep their videos on throughout the event and will have opportunities to mute and unmute. Reading material will be provided prior to the event.
